Group Rate Rooms for Baum-Wilhelm Guests
We reserved room blocks at 3 different hotels in Mechanicsburg, each within a 7-10 minute drive to RVG.
*Tip: Home2 Suites and La Quinta are literally right next to each other (they basically share a lot), so we recommend choosing one of those first if you’d like the easiest logistics. If those are full (or not your top choice), Fairfield is a great additional option. Depending on how many guests use the shuttles, we may or may not have Fairfield be a pick-up spot. Stay tuned.
All hotels include a pool, fitness center, free parking, and free breakfast (plus the usual comforts like wifi, mini fridges, and in-room coffee makers). Some rooms have kitchenettes. Please be mindful of the deadlines!

Airbnb & VRBO
For some guests, a short-term rental such as VRBO or Airbnb may be a better fit. If that's you, we highly advise booking as early as possible. While we’ve found rentals in the area to be quite nice & spacious, there aren’t a ton of options very close to Rich Valley Golf (RVG) like you might find in a larger metropolitan area.
Tips for searching:
1. Use Mechanicsburg as your starting point in the search bar (but definitely expand out, as Mechanicsburg is small; try Camp Hill, Carlisle, Wertzville, and others).
2. Aim for properties within a 10–25 minute drive of RVG.
In each listing, go to the map feature and search “Rich Valley Golf” to see the estimated driving distance between that rental property and the venue (estimates are usually on the conservative side).
3. You may find more inventory in Harrisburg or Hershey, but those locations are typically 30–40 minutes from the venue.
Other Lodging Options
You’re also welcome to look around at the plethora of other hotels, motels, resorts, inns, and bed & breakfasts in the vicinity. We suggest using Google Maps or Expedia Travel and searching Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Carlisle, or elsewhere within the Silver Spring Township area for the easiest commute to the venue.
Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast is a favorite! It's an absolutely charming 1802 brick farmhouse on ten quiet country acres in the heart of Cumberland Valley, offering delicious, creative breakfasts, EV charging, and is pet-friendly. And it's roughly a 12-minute drive from RVG!
